This cohort is specifically designed to equip, develop and build an informal network of leaders of lead pastors and develop in similar styles of coaching and systems to work together.
Over the course of the cohort your will be challenged to:
- Develop the primary competencies of a Lead Pastor including productivity, proposals, advanced planning, and work on calling.
- Create comprehension and action in regard to Leadership Mosaic concepts Conviction, Creativity, Courage, Collaboration, Contemplation.
- Explore the relationships between Time, Place, Body, Social System, and Story to add a soulful and contextualized style of leadership.
- Build a lasting personal network young pastors and staff for support, encouragement, and consultation
Daniel Montgomery is the founder of Sojourn Community Church in Louisville, KY. Daniel planted Sojourn Community Church in the fall of 2000 in Louisville, KY; he has been serving as the Lead Pastor since. The church has grown from a core of 30 people to over 4,000 including multiple services and multiple campuses. Daniel is also co-author of Faithmapping (2013), Proof: Finding Freedom Through The Intoxicating Joy Of Irresistible Grace (2014), and Leadership Mosaic: Five Leadership Principles for Ministry and Everyday Life (2016). Daniel and Mandy moved to Louisville in 1998 to attend Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity in 2000. In addition to being the proud husband to Mandy, Daniel is the father of Elijah, Stella, Levi, and Georgia.
