Ed Stetzer is an author, speaker, researcher, pastor, church planter, and Christian missiologist. He is a contributor to the North American discussion on missional church, church planting, church revitalization, and Christian cultural engagement. Ed is the Executive Director of the Billy Graham Center for Evangelism at Wheaton College, a prolific author, and well-known conference and seminar leader. He has planted, revitalized, and pastored churches, trained pastors and church planters on six continents, holds two Master’s degrees and two Doctorates, and has written dozens of articles and books (Planting New Churches in a Postmodern Age, Planting Missional Churches, Transformational Church, etc.). Ed Stetzer has been a great influence on many church planters, among them Daniel Montgomery who was coached by Stetzer in the process of planting Sojourn Church.

Randy Nabors has over four decades of ministry experience dating back to 1976 when he became senior pastor of New City Fellowship, an inner-city church in the heart of Chattanooga, TN that was self-consciously focused on racial reconciliation, evangelism and mercy to the poor. This ideological and theological call to the city has been with Randy his entire life and is one of the main driving forces behind his love for training church planters and leaders to plant inner-city churches that are diverse and eager to serve the poor. In addition to his pastorate at New City Fellowship, Randy also served as a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain, mobilized three times to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq in three major operations: Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom. Beginning September 1, 2012, Randy began full-time work as Urban & Mercy Ministries Coordinator with The New City Network, a ministry of  Mission to North America (PCA denomination) to encourage the development of church plants in the inner cities of America, to train and encourage churches in the ministries of mercy, cross cultural ministry, and urban evangelism.

Daniel planted Sojourn Community Church in the fall of 2000 in Louisville, KY; he has been serving as the Lead Pastor since. The church has grown from a core of 30 people to over 4,000 including multiple services and multiple campuses. Daniel is also co-author of Faithmapping (2013), and Proof: Finding Freedom Through The Intoxicating Joy Of Irresistible Grace (2014). Daniel and Mandy moved to Louisville in 1998 to attend Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity in 2000. In addition to being the proud husband to Mandy, Daniel is the father of Elijah, Stella, Levi, and Georgia.
