About the Executive Director

Dave Harvey serves as the Executive Director of Sojourn Network and a Teaching Pastor at Summit Church in Fort Myers, FL. Dave is also the founder of “Am I Called.com”, a leadership resource site helping pastors, leaders and men who sense a call to ministry and has 31 years of pastoral experience, with 19 years as a lead pastor. Dave chairs the board for the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF) and has traveled nationally and internationally doing conferences where he teaches Christians, equips pastors and trains church planters. Dave has a D.Min from Westminster Theological Seminary, writes regularly for TGC and FTC, and is the author of When Sinners Say I Do, Am I Called, Rescuing Ambition, and Letting Go: Rugged Love for Wayward Souls. Married for 35 years, Dave and Kimm have four kids and two grandkids.

Position Overview

The Executive Assistant to Dave Harvey for Sojourn Network (SN) is an exciting and multifaceted role, offering the person a front row seat into the ministries that Sojourn Network provides for its pastors and leaders. The Executive Assistant to Dave Harvey will primarily be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Executive Director (AD) through some of the following duties: scheduling meetings and appointments, expense reporting, helping prepare for meetings, paper and digital filing, office organization and aesthetics, and other general office administrative needs.

This role will require someone with exceptional administrative and organizational skills, coupled with clear communication skills in written and verbal form. The person will need to be a humble, yet confident, self-starter who works well with a small, productive team. As part of an ever-growing and evolving organization, this person will also need to exhibit flexibility, adaptability, and openness to frequent change.
